History of company

young foundryman named Oldrich Kolar. Company has about 30 employees in the beginning of the 
Second world war. At that time company consisted of the industrial and art foundry, machine and 
engineering shop.
After the Second world war company became a part of the state owned economy. Founders family 
came back to the company in the end of 1989 after more then 50 years. They preserve old tradition of matal casting which means that there is still using old processing technology in the foundry.
As new sphere of business KOV Velim started in the 1991 production of customer oriented body on 
the trucks. Now KOV Velim present whole range of body in the high quality. Bodies from KOV Velim 
are focused on the long lifetime period and customers requirements.
KOV Velim also obtains import and service of motor-caravans and caravans DETHLEFFS, independent 
gas heating TRUMA, supplementary tubular heating ALDE, accessory for caravans and camping 
equipment MOVERA and caravan fitting DOMETIC.
From the year 2002 KOV Velim propose production of milled, turned, squeezed and bended 
components 
and their assemblies according to standard ČSN EN ISO 9001:2001.
